After getting ads published, your campaign needs to be analyzed and optimized to plan for the future. You need to check and refresh your campaign from time to time.
Facebook Ads Reporting
You campaigns can be organized and filtered by dates or objectives etc. You can also go into detail of each campaign to check its performance. You can also select a date range for a performance check.


You will find different metrics of ad performance in Ads Manager:
- Cost per click
- Cost per conversion
- Unique link clicks
- Impressions
A campaign can be selected by its name and navigated to observe its performance. Facebook shows the important data of any campaign on its own.

Performance– including result, result rate, frequency, reach, delivery, impressions, social reach, actions are taken, the amount spent and feedback, etc.
Engagement– includes comments, likes, shares, responses, check-ins, claims, and offers, etc.
Clicks-include social clicks, unique link clicks, and link clicks, etc.

Facebook Campaign Breakdown
Your reports can be broken down by the Breakdown menu as follows:
- Delivery– gender, age, location, time of day, platform, etc.
- Action– destination, conversion device, video view type, carousel card, video sound, etc
- Time– day week or month
One criterion can be selected from each section.


You have to select a campaign to breakdown. Then select a criterion for breakdown.


Saving and Automating Reports
You can save a report and schedule it to deliver on time. You can compile a lot of data in automated reports. Remember don’t break any rules when run ads otherwise Facebook can disable your account
